The Private Beach

Having your own private beach has it's advantages! This part sand, part pebble beach is a great place to explore, play, swim and relax.

Some of the best snorkeling and diving on St. John is just off-shore at Dever's Reef in Dever's Bay. In fact, sometimes you'll see a dive boat anchored in the bay while on a dive deep below. Other times you may see local boats fishing or looking for fresh lobsters that hide in the bay.

The hammock and beach chairs provided make this the perfect place to have a "day at the beach" without even leaving home! (Also, our beach, because it is part pebbles, won't have those annoying sand fleas that can be bothersome at the white sand beaches.)

Watch the sunset from the beach instead of the deck for a whole new perspective! Or, why not have dinner or a picnic on the beach? No matter what you do, be sure and close your eyes and enjoy the sounds of the surf and the sea. Nothing sounds better than the real thing!
