The Hibiscus Cottage

The Hibiscus Cottage entrance is a cute Caribbean-style arched wooden doorway that can be propped open to reveal a sliding screen door that lets the cool Caribbean breezes in. The entrance is in the courtyard next to the parking area, but still only steps from the pool and deck and the Great Room.

The cottage is fully air-conditioned, has a comfortable king-size bed with a soft blue and grey flower coverlet. There is a large dresser, two end tables and closet for ample storage space. There is a private bathroom and a private, enclosed outdoor stone shower in the back. (Being in a completely outdoor shower is a neat experience if you have never done it before. Trust me - you'll love it and it is very Caribbean.)

The Cottage also has a large sitting area that overlooks the deck and pool area - a perfect place to read a magazine or curl up and take a nap. There is also a full, stocked kitchenette with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pots & pans, utensils and a full dish set so you can also entertain or cook if you wish. The kitchenette also has a small dining area that can seat four. The cottage has recently been completely remodeled and decorated, and is one of my favorite spots in the villa.
